Kristen Dalton – Miss USA 2009

The newly crowned Miss USA 2009 is Miss Carolina Kristen Dalton. She is 22 years old and is from Wilmington, North Carolina. She is an aspiring motivational speaker. Watch the video of her exciting crowning moment below.

Miss USA 2009 pictures? Imagine 51 contestants from the U.S.A. representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The extravagant pageant was broadcast live from the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. What time is the 2009 Miss USA pageant? It will be broadcast at 7 PM ET/PT.

For the contestants, the telecast is the culmination of several days of preliminary competition. Co-hosts of the Miss USA 2009 pageant were Billy Bush of Access Hollywood and Nadine Velazquez from ‘My Name Is Earl.’ Bush previously hosted Miss Universe and Miss USA in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

The pageant featured musical performances; Kevin Rudolf performing his chart-topping single “Let It Rock” during the swimsuit competition and The Veronicas performing their hit single “Untouched” during the evening gown competition.

Miss USA 2008 Crystal Stewart was be there to pass on the coveted crown in the 58th annual pageant whose winner will go on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant later this year. Since 2002, the Miss Universe Organization has run both pageants as a joint partnership between NBC Universal and Donald Trump.

Miss USA 2009 judges are Robert Earl, Shandi Finnessey, Willie Geist, Brian Graden, Shelley Hennig, Perez Hilton, Alicia Jacobs, Claudia Jordan, John Miller, Kelly Monaco, Kenan Thompson and Eric Trump.

What is the difference between Miss America and Miss USA? The pageants are often confused, but the main difference is that the latter does not have a talent competition. Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart puts it this way.

“Miss America is the girl next door,” she says. “But, Miss USA is the girl you wish lived next door.”

In proof of the statement, while still an unknown, Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry was the first runner-up in the 1986 Miss USA pageant. Needless to say, she would have done nicely in a talent competition, besides!

Lest we think the Miss USA crown is just a symbol, in and of itself, it is also a work of art, valued at around $202,000!

So who will be the next Miss USA 2009? Who might become a future star?

Miss North Carolina shouldn’t even have made top five with those obvious breast implants. Utah should have won. Shame that only women and gay men get to vote.

Miss California Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great role model. The world just doesn’t get it. God’s word is true, every man a liar. Sin is sin is sin is sin. Adultery, fornication, anger, a lustful thought, lying, cheating, stealing, homosexuality, gossip, God is no respector of persons. Man has a sin problem: myself, Perez, Carrie, the judges, the world. Carrie’s sin, my sin, that of the world, has been taken care of by Christ’s finished work on the cross. Believe it, trust it, ask Him to save you and He will.

Wow!! As a prooud father of a beautiful daughter, I am so prould of Carrie Prejean. That’s one great example I can point to my daughter and say, “look at Miss California USA, she rocks, she loves the Lord, and she stood for Him when the world was watching. Jesus will be saying to her, “well done, thy good and faithful servant”. Thank you Miss California, may God richly bless you and all you come in contact.

“What shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and looses his own soul”. Mark 8:36

Do you get it???????? You better. Thank God for His Grace and Mercy.
