With that news out of the way, let’s move away from a dumb basketball player and a dumber baby to one of the hot NBA wives on the planet. La La Vasquez was featured in AskMen. With knockers like those, it is a safe bet that the baby will not be calcium deficient.
LaLa has been a distinctive voice on the Urban Contemporary radio airwaves since 1996. She started her career in Atlanta at WHAT-FM as a Programming Assistant. A year later, she relocated to Washington, D.C. to attend Howard University. There she studied Communications and spun records at the college’s radio station WHBC-FM. This job landed her a weekend show on urban radio station WKYS-FM 93.9. She soon returned to Atlanta, where she began an on-air partnership with Chris Love (Ludacris) and Poon Daddy on a weekday drive-time show called Future Flavas. With the success of this show, she decided to pursue her dream of moving to Los Angeles to become an entertainer in radio, music and on the screen.
On the big screen her beaming smile radiates, and her warmth draws in the audience’s attention. Her film debut, Two Can Play That Game, starred Vivica A. Fox and Morris Chestnut. She is currently considering several other film opportunities.
La La’s television career is on the fast track as well. She shares hosting and DJ duties with Spike David, on the weekly half-hour music trivia game show On the Beat. Recently, this multi-media, talented woman began a new and exciting chapter in her career. La La is the co-host, along with DJ Clue, of MTV’s Direct Effect and co-host of Total Request Live, in addition to hosting numerous MTV specials from Fashionably Loud Hip-Hop to MTV’s Homecoming.
