Mayana and boyfriend Matt Smith were spotted out and about in London over the weekend. They went shopping arm-in-arm and there are reports that Mayana even met the family. Sounds serious!
As a biography, Mayana Moura was born on August 29, 1982 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, so her age is 26. She splits her time between Rio de Janeiro and New York. While in Rio last January, Mayana met Matt, and the two have been dating ever since.
Mayana began her career as a model. Photographer Mario Testino discovered her in Rio, and she began modeling for Karl Lagerfeld and others. As a model, she moved to New York, and now sings for the punk rock band Glass and Glue. She has also acted, appearing in the films “14 Bis” and “Elvis and Madona”. But it’s her career that might be interfering in her relationship. A friend says,
‘Matt wants Mayana to move to England but she is really involved in this band. She and Matt are both at the start of brilliant careers and they are in love. I just don’t know how it will end. It is a real dilemma.’
Friends call Mayana shy, sweet and unassuming.
