Meet Dan Abrams, the Chief Legal Correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC. In addition to being a television commentator, he is the CEO of Abrams Research. See his biography, photos and video here.
Renee Zellweger and Dan Abrams were spotted together having a “cozy dinner” at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor. Now rumors are flying that the two are together. Could Renee and Dan be dating? This wouldn’t be the first superstar he’s been linked to. Dan previously dated Elle Macpherson.
As a biography, Dan Abrams was born on May 20, 1966 in New York, so his age is 42. He graduated from Duke University in 1988 with a B.A. cum laude in political science. He then graduated from law school at Columbia University in 1992.
Abrams got his start at NBC Sports working the 1988 Olympics and Wimbledon. Lower on the totem pole at this time, his job included coffee runs and icing down the soda. Later he worked as a Court TV analyst where he was a big part of the OJ Simpson trial coverage. Other big cases he worked on included Dr. Jack Kevorkian’s trial and the International War Crimes Tribunal. After Court TV, he moved back to NBC, where in 2000 he reported on the Bush v. Gore case. Since then he has stayed with the MSNBC network in various roles. He has hosted his own shows, “The Abrams Report” and “Verdict with Dan Abrams”, and he served as general manager of the station for almost a year and a half. He also filled in as a host on the “Today” show occasionally and helped as a contributor for “Dateline”.
He began Abrams Research late last year, which is a media consulting group. The firm’s goal is to offer corporate clients the advice of media insiders. He also works as a writer, publishing articles in The New York Times and The American Lawyer. In addition, he publishes a monthly article in Men’s Health magazine.
