After her character, Judy Winslow, was abruptly written off Family Matters, Jaimee Foxworth battled depression and substance abuse issues. She can now be seen on Vh1’s Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.
Jaimee Foxworth was born December 17, 1979 in Belleville, Illinois on a military base. She is best known for portraying Judy Winslow, the youngest daughter on the show Family Matters. She abruptly left the show after four seasons when the shows producers got tired of dealing with Jaimee’s mom. Her mom wanted a larger role for Jaimee, and eventually wanted to turn little Judy into the star child, rather than Laura. The show got tired of dealing with her, so they wrote her off with no explanation. In subsequent seasons, the Winslows refer to their two children, rather than three.
Acting roles were sparse after the show, and Jaimee Foxworth battled depression and an addiction to marijuana. This was exacerbated when a judge ruled that her trust fund, worth $500,000, be turned over to her parents to help save them from bankruptcy. Jaimee eventually turned to porn, where she appeared in approximately nine adult films over 2 years under the name Crave.
Jaimee Foxworth decided to check into rehab with Dr. Drew, and can now be seen on the Vh1 reality show Celebrity Rehab.
