Celine Cawley Biography

As a biography, Celine Cawley was age 46 when she died. She lived in Howth, Ireland with her husband, Eamonn Lillis, and her 16-year-old daughter, Georgia.

She began her career as a model, but in 1985 she landed an acting role. After appearing as a Bond girl in “A View to a Kill”, Celine continued in the movie business, but as a film-maker. She also worked as an advertising executive. She founded her production company, Toytown Films, in 1990; it was one of the most successful of Ireland. In 2004, she produced “Two Fat Ladies”, an award-winning short film.

Celine enjoyed yachting, tennis and art.

Since her death, friends have paid tribute to an Irish advertising icon, calling her, the “Mother of Commercial Production in Ireland.”

I was always amazed by Celine’s kindness of spirit. Always the first with words of congratulations, or the first to send a gift for a newborn child or a wedding. It’s this kind of thoughtfullness for others that is a true reflection of the person that was Celine.

She was a unique person with a heart of gold.
