Relatively unknown British actress Camilla Arfwedson jumped into the spotlight at a red carpet event where she had a wardrobe malfunction. Read the rest of the story and see photos and a biography of Camilla Arfwedson below.

While walking the red carpet at the premier of her new movie, A Bunch of Amateurs, actress Camilla Arfwedson suffered from a wardrobe malfunction as her low cut dress began to slip off her shoulder as she was walking in front of the slew of photographers. Ever the professional, Camilla made a face as she grabbed for her dress, narrowly averting disaster. Making the moment even more scandalous, Queen Elizabeth was attending the same event, although Camilla’s dress problems had been fixed prior to Her Majesty’s arrival.

Camilla Arfwedson Biography

Not much is known of the 27-year old actress, except that she was born in 1981 and studied at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. In 2005, Camilla Arfwedson made her first television appearance in A Waste of Shame: The Mystery of Shakespeare and His Sonnets as Lucie’s Maid. Two years later, she was again seen on the small screen, playing Tamara in Sex, the City, and Me.

In 2008, she finally made it onto the silver screen, playing Lady Charlotte in The Duchess. Also in 2008, she had the relatively minor role of Amanda in A Bunch of Amateurs. He next television appearance, a spot on Marple: Murder Made Easy, is currently in post-production.

Despite few acting credits to her name, her opinion was sought out for an article that discussed the change in Generation Y from previous generations of women. The article discussed how women were now getting married at the average age of 33, while it had previously been at 25. Camilla Arfwedson was quoted saying:

“I am really surprised when I hear of girls my age getting married and having kids only because I’m nowhere near that stage yet. The strange thing is I know it’s absolutely normal for girls to have children now and it really makes me wonder whether we are being ‘unnatural’ putting off the body clock. I often get broody when I see babies, but then the sensible voice at the back of my head says, ‘No! Not yet. It’s you and your career now. Chill out.'”

Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of Camilla Arfwedson in the future, and not just because of a wardrobe malfunction in the red carpet.
