Adam Shulman, an actor who has appeared in TV and movies, has just been revealed as the new boyfriend of actress Anne Hathaway.
Shulman, who met Hathaway through mutual friends, recently traveled to New Orleans with her to offer up support during the screening of her latest film, Rachel Getting Married.
Hathaway’s ex, Raffaello Follieri, whom she split with earlier this year, pleaded guilty to wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy in September. He was sentenced to four and a half years in prison.
According to someone who knows both Adam and Anne:
“Adam’s everything Raffaello wasn’t. He’s sensitive and kind to a fault. I think Anne may have found a kindred spirit.”
As a biography, Adam Shulman was born on April 2, 1981 in New York City, so his age is 27. He appeared in seven episodes of the NBC drama, American Dreams, in 2005. In 2007, he played the part of Enos in the TV movie, The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning.
Not much else is known about Adam, but he evidently is making Anne Hathaway quite happy. She hinted last month (but didn’t reveal who he was):
“You know when you don’t know someone very well…you just meet them and you’re like, ‘Wow, you really have it going on’?”
Unfortunately, rumor has it that Adam left someone to be with Anne.
