Meet Susanne Klatten, the wealthiest woman in Germany who is the recent victim of a sex tape scandal. See her biography, photos and video here.
Susanne Klatten’s spokesman recently revealed that she has been the victim of blackmail. About a year ago, she had a relationship with a man named only “Mr. S.” in court documents, but revealed as Helg Sgarbi. Sgarbi allegedly took photos and video of the couple without Susanne’s knowledge, and then tried to extort $51 million. The Susanne Klatten sex tape is now the subject of a court case while Sgarbi is being held in a German prison awaiting trial. News outlets allege that Susanne paid the blackmailers $15 million to prevent the release of the tape and photos before further requests for greater sums followed.
As a biography, Susanne Klatten was born on April 28, 1962 in Bad Homburg, Germany so her age is 46. Her parents are Herbert and Johanna Quandt. As heir to large stakes in Altana and BMW, she is the richest woman in Germany with a fortune of $13.2 billion. In 1978, there was a near-kidnapping, which police prevented. Susanne has a degree in business finance and an MBA.
Susanne married Jan Klatten in 1990. They have three children together.
Now Susanne is involved in a criminal case against Helg Sgarbi. She approached prosecutors in Munich in January 2008 after receiving several threats to blackmail her if she did not pay Sgarbi millions to prevent the release of photos and video.
