Clare Harding Is Tom Chambers’ Wife

On Sunday, October 19, 2008, Clare Harding and Tom Chambers were married after years of being childhood sweethearts. They planned the ceremony around Tom’s schedule on the hit British show “Strictly Come Dancing”.

As a biography, Clare Harding is 26 years old. She lives in England with her husband, Tom Chambers. Tom is an actor on the BBC show “Holby City”, though this looks to be his last season. Of Clare, he says,

“I knew when I first saw Clare she was The One. It hit me like a thunderbolt. I told my mum, ‘I’ve just met the girl I’m going to marry’. She said, ‘Well you better do something about it, otherwise she’ll be snapped up by someone else and you’ll regret never telling her’.�?

Clare and Tom were married at Repton School in Derbyshire, England, where the two had gone to school. After dating since they were kids, the two had actually broken up a few years ago. But they came back together after they each experienced a brush with death. Tom was involved in a plane hijacking in Africa while Clare was hit by a car while crossing the street. These events brought the two closer and it seems made them realize what’s important in life.

After the wedding, they headed to nearby hotel to enjoy a quick honeymoon. They only have 3 days until Tom has to get back to work on “Strictly Come Dancing”. Tom’s Strictly partner, Camilla Dallerup, was said to be choreographing the couple’s first dance at the wedding.

To help Tom during his turn on “Strictly Come Dancing”, Clare took time off work where she is a television researcher. She plans to work as a freelancer after the honeymoon.
