Kyle Jacobs, Kellie Pickler’s new boyfriend, wrote songs for her self-titled second album which debuted September 30th. Kellie recently opened up about battling depression and how she suffered from a severe reaction to an anti-depressant after dealing with family problems and her breakup with hockey player Jordin Tootoo. She credits Jacobs for getting her back on track. She said:
“He makes me feel so good about being me.”
As a biography, Kyle Jacobs’ age is unknown. He moved to the Nashville area in 2000 from Minneapolis, Minnesota and enjoyed his first success as a songwriter when he penned American Idol alum Kimberly Locke’s Top 10 single, “8th World Wonder” in 2003.
He co-wrote Garth Brooks’ “More Than A Memory” (see video here), which debuted at #1 on the R&R Charts on September 4, 2007.
He has written several songs for artists such as Tim McGraw, Terri Clark, Kellie Pickler, Trace Adkins and Vince Gill, just to name a few.
Jacbos also serves as a writer for Curb Music Publishing.
