The beautiful Drew Barrymore sat down with the mag and candidly spoke with them about how her priorities have changed since splitting with boyfriend Justin Long this past summer, the importance of voting and how she is now focusing on the causes she believes in and friends.

After her split from Justin in July, she vowed that she didn’t want to live a life that was “defined by her relationship with a man”. Check out her Harper’s Bazaar cover here.

“My priorities have changed so much. It’s been about learning who I am, not through a man, but for myself.”

Since becoming a single woman, she has focused more on traveling with the U.N., where she is an Ambassador Against Hunger for the organization’s U.N. World Food Programme.

Another cause important to Drew is encouraging young people to vote. She proudly supports Barack Obama, saying, “His values are my values.”
