Rachel Bilson just launched her clothing line, Edie Rose. Collaborating with DKNY the former O.C. star launched a fashion forward, yet affordable fashion line. Rachel appeared at Macy’s in Aventura Florida over the weekend to launch the line, Edie Rose. Edie Rose is named after her grandmother, Edie and rose after a family friend.

Rachel said: “This is something that I have been interested in doing for such a long time… Fans of The O.C. really like DKNY Jeans, and I know they make great stuff, so I thought it could be good.�

Rachel also explained that she has been very involved in the process, and how she hopes to set it apart from the other celeb designers.

“I can’t draw at all, so I won’t be doing any sketches, but I am learning to sew. I think it’s important to know more about the whole process of making clothes. I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously… I also want to show people that you don’t have to pay a million dollars for clothes that look good. For me, I love vintage clothes and I shop vintage all the time. It’s fun to play and put things together. You don’t have to spend a lot to get a great look.�

Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans price range is from $19.50 and $49.50 per piece, and is available at department stores including Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom.
