We all know that Sarah Palin was first runner up in the 1984 Miss Alaska Beauty Pageant. She was Sarah Heath at that time. We’ve heard her talk about it and mention how it felt to her to have to stand on the stage and pose in a swimsuit. But where, oh where, were the videos of those beauty pageant days?
Well, it seems some guy up in Alaska had an old VHS tape of the pageant and …. you guessed it …. he saw an opportunity to digitize those tapes, upload them to YouTube and give the world the opportunity to see our next Vice President’s swimsuit beauty pageant footage. Its not an itsy bitsy bikini, but its pretty close. Don’t you just LOVE the internet!!!
Some people are saying this kind of thing isn’t Presidential and are making some pretty awful remarks about her being sexy and posing in a swimsuit. Like that’s some kind of crime. I don’t understand what the problem with it is, we’ve seen Barack Obama in his swimsuit so why can’t we see Palin strutting her stuff? Not to mention since when is there something wrong with being sizzling hot and sexy?
