Angelina Jolie’s new film The Changeling has just released the trailer and it looks like it will be an interesting movie. It is a different approach, as Angelina usually does action/adventure type movies.
However Angelina Jolie’s The Changeling character is a mother. We have yet to see Angelina in a maternal role. The story line sounds very interesting though, as it is based on the Wineville chicken Murders. The Wineville chicken Murders are infamous kidnapping and murder case that occurred between 1928 and 1930 and received nationwide attention.
When the son of Christine Collins (Jolie) is returned to her after being kidnapped, she suspects that the child is not her own. After being vilified as an unfit mother, Christine confronts the city authorities and corruption in the Los Angeles Police Department in order to find out the truth.
The Changeling is a Clint Eastwood film starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich.
The movie opens on Friday, October 24. You can watch the HD trailer here!

In the trailer it looked way over acted. I was bummed because I really wanted to see it. I believe a different actress would have been key. Besides acting crazy in films I don’t think she can connect characters well.

Yeah Cindy, overacted. She should have tried being more ’subtle’. After all, she only has no idea where and what has happened to her child, she has been forced to accept a stranger as hers under the full threat and intimidation of the L.A. police department. What the biggy?
Do you know anything about the film? Have you ever lost anything more than your contacts?

Neil, I guess we disagree. I just didn’t connect with in her acting in this movie…it didn’t feel authentic. I have seen other movies…very tragic and connected with it. I just didn’t this time. I am a mom, and it just didn’t ring authentic. That’s it. Thanks for your opinion.
