Meet Levi Johnston, the baby daddy to Alaskan first daughter Bristol Palin. See his photos, biography and myspace page and a skateboarding video of our man here.
As a biography, little is known of Mr. Johnston but he has been thrust into a publicity storm during the 2008 political season. In a blockbuster announcement, the vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin announced that her 17-year old daughter Bristol is pregnant courtesy of the 18-year old boyfriend. He knocked her up in April 2008 creating quite a baby scandal during the presidential race.
Levi is unwed although that will be changing soon. Briston Palin Johnston’s wedding to Levi Johnston will happen, according to the future grandma. The baby is way due in late December. The couple have been dating for about a year in her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. As of yet the baby is unnamed, although McCain Palin Johnston is a great choice.
The young couple’s difficult decision to marry and keep the child is causing an internet firestorm and a good debate. For pro-life supporters, their choice has highlighted the right to life movement and they are seen as heroic. For progressives she has been the object of ridicule and scorn as political pawns in a bigger game.
By all accounts he is a hockey player and a good one too. In fact he says so himself. Levi Johnston’s myspace page describes himself as a redneck, snowboarder, hockey player, and dirt bike rider who just might kick your ass. He says that he is in a relationship but does not want kids. Welcome to baby daddy land.
See pictures of the happy couple below. Meanwhile you can see another cute picture of her and grandpa.

This is “NO” scandal at all! It’s actually quite “NORMAL”!
…Barak Hussein Osama, I mean Obama’s mother was the same age when she was knocked up by a “married” muslim and then went on to another muslim in Indonesia! How was she not being used to further “their” cause? To spread Islam?! by knocking up as many infidel women as possible, I mean! They have a great time screwing stupid women who just can’t keep their legs closed when they see those type guys! Notice they leave immediately after they find out the woman’s pregnant though. At least Sarah Palin’s daughter has a boyfriend that is American and is staying with her daughter. It’s quite normal having a child at this age. All through history women have had them at this age! We pray that the baby shall be healthy and for the health of Sarah Palin’s daughetr. It’s just the double standard “left” attacking again when they have more to hide than people would believe! They own the “media”, so, of course you will see things like this becoming major stories when they are not. People are fooled and brain washed so often by the left that they have the upper hand most of the time. If they say down is up and blue is yellow the idiots that vote for them believe every word! Just stop and think a while and then you will see that this is correct and you too will wish them well, instead of feeding the media what they want to hear.

It’s Illegal for an 18 year (adult) to have sex with a Minor (17)….

Sarah Palin wants to deny your child any access to sex education and contraception, so that, like her, you can become a grandparent while your kid is still a teenager. What did you think you were saving money for? Retirement? Nope, it’s time to start buying more diapers!

Dear KvP:
I can’t believe I wasted my time reading your crap

There is a big difference in sex education mandated by the public schools and sex education. Many people believe that these matters should be taught at home by the parents or at church. They don’t always agree with the way sex education presents all the issues, finding some of them personally offensive and against their personal and religious beliefs.
I see nothing wrong with that. We are supposed to be a country that guarantees freedom to worship as you choose and to believe what you choose.
I see pros and cons on this, and don’t think that parents should be crucified because they have definite beliefs about this.

Governor Palin does not want to deny your child the right to learn about sex or buy contraception. Go right ahead and teach them all you want and buy them all the condoms and birth control pills you want to.
Perhaps she doesn’t think the government (we the people) should be paying for birth control for a bunch of people who are going to have indiscriminate sex outside of marriage.
I don’t want to pay for that.
If someone knocked on your door and said, “Pay up. You owe the government $50 this month to buy birth control for the teenagers in your community who are having sex.” Would you pay that every month? This is the real issue, not a moral one.

Elaine:
Come to think of it, no one from the government has ever come to my door asking me to pay up for the bombs we drop on people (an act which I happen find morally repugnant). Or for the literally countless other government programs which I also abhor. No, they just take the money right out of my paycheck.
But that’s the price I pay for being a part of a Great Society. I take the good with the bad (or better said, I enjoy the good while trying improve upon the bad).
That said, you are totally glossing over Palin’s position on this issue. She isn’t just against providing randy teenagers with French Ticklers. She is totally against Sex education. Her plan? One word: abstinence.
Setting aside for the moment the reality of the fact that she could not even make this loopy idea work in her own home; let’s consider the substance of this notion. Because once again, here we can reveal the hypocrisy of the “family values” party.
What you are advocating (I assume by your statements) is that the government should not be involved in a public health issue or social issue. That you don’t want your tax dollars to go towards the prevention of STD’s, single mothers or unwanted children. And here is where I have to disagree with you.
While abstinence education might be fine and dandy as a conservative campaign issue, it has been proven over and over again as useless public policy (Exhibit A: Brie Palin). So I, for one, am just fine with the government using some of my money towards sex education to combat some of the ill’s I already listed.
You see if most of my tax dollars have to go to the Military-Industrial complex, Corporate Giveaways and tax breaks to the wealthiest, then I think it only fair that some of my money go towards actually improving peoples lives. This is called Social Responsibility. The notion that we are all to some extent responsible for one another. Not by making peoples choices for them (by criminalizing abortion, for example) but by helping them make the best choices possible (for them). And by the way, that’s the real issue and IT IS a moral one.
