Neal E. Boyd is the man to beat this season, and that’s according to Piers! Before this season of AGT, Neal E. Boyd was an insurance salesman who “sang pretty” for his grandmother. Now with her passing, a week after his audition aired, Neal dedicates his songs and performances to her, with a tear in his eye. He has a voice like an angel, and charisma that no one else in the competition seems to have yet.
Last week, Neal E. Boyd performed in the final spot, and sang “Somewhere (There’s a Place for Us)� from “West Side Story.� Upon finishing to a standing ovation, judge Piers Morgan told him, “Somewhere, your grandmother was watching that, saying, ‘You sang pretty for me.’ Adding, “You are the man to beat and whoever beats you is going to have to give the performance of their life.�

Neil, what a great voice. I hope you are considering Nessun Dorma for the finals. It’s the epitomy of a tenor’s voice. You can do it and if you do you’ll win hands down. I’m waiting for your first album. God speed.
