Ludacris has a new song out in which he airs out his feelings regarding recent politics issues, and voices his support for Barack Obama. For the song, Ludacris recorded a freestyle over Young Buck’s “Get Buck. The song entitled, “Politics (Obama Is Here) takes a much different direction in supporting the Presidential hopeful, than Will.I.am’s “Yes We Can video. Instead Ludacris is much more forward with his lyrics, calling out Reverend Jesse Jackson for his controversial comments about Barack.
Now Jesse talkin’ slick and apologizin’ for what?/ If you said it then you meant it.
Luda also calls out President Bush saying,
“Yeah I said it, ‘cuz Bush is mentally handicapped/ Ball up all of his speeches and throw ‘em just like candy wraps/ ‘Cuz what you talkin’ I hear nothin’ even relevant/ And you the worst of all 43 presidents.
He goes on to call Hilary Clinton “irrelevant and guarantees Obama will be in office next term. Ludacris finishes “Politics with encouraging lyrics reminding every one to get out and vote.
“Get out and vote or the end will be near/ The world is ready for change ‘cuz Obama is here!
Overall the lyrics are funny and in all honesty, are much better than anything I’ve heard from Luda in quite a while. I guess he was inspired. Check out the full set of lyrics and hear the song “Politics (Obama Is Here).

Ludacris “Obama Is Here” Lyrics
I’m back on it like I just signed my record deal
Yeah the best is here, the Bentley Coup paint is dripping wet, it got sex appeal
Never should have hated, You never should’ve doubted him
With a slot in the president’s iPod Obama shouted ‘em
Said I handle my biz and I’m one of his favorite rappers
Well give Luda a special pardon if I’m ever in the slammer
Better yet put me in office, make me your vice president
Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant
Jesse talking slick and apologizing for what?
If you said it then you meant it how you want it head or gut?
And all you other politicians trying to hate on my man,
watch us win majority vote in every state on my man
You can’t stop what’s bout to happen, we bout to make history
The first black president is destined and it’s meant to be
The threats ain’t fazing us, the nooses or the jokes
So get off your ass, black people, it’s time to get out and vote!
Paint the White House black and I’m sure that’s got ‘em terrified
McCain don’t belong in any chair unless he’s paralyzed
Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped
Ball up all of his speeches and just throw ‘em like candy wrap
’cause what you talking I hear nothing even relevant
and you the worst of all 43 presidents
Get out and vote or the end’ll be near
The world is ready for change because Obama is here
’cause Obama is here
The world is ready for change because Obama is here, yeah
cuz Obama is here

Obama is not qualified. Black people still feel like they are owed and that is your problem. We didn;t own any damn slaves and ya’ll were never in a cotton field. I did like Luda until he came with this crap. You would vote for Jaime Foxx if he was runnin’, just cuz he is black. Obama is a liar, and he will destroy this country. Bush does what he says, at least his dumb ass has that going for him, we know what to expect. If the “change” you want is Mexicans taking over our country and our right to freedom of speech demolished, go ahead and vote for him. Idiots.

My personal feeling and opinion…I don’t blame Ludacris for anything he says…said. He has a point no one wants to see. He’s speaking the truth people want to hide. I do believe there will be changes because of Obama and not just for black people…like some idiots say. Last time I checked he wasn’t running for president of the black people…he is running for president of the US. So, hey…stop being closed-minded and ignorant. It’s really not becoming. I hate to see that as a country we have come all of this way to get to this point and stop. Ludacris was right…and quite hilarious too
For Kari: If he wasn’t qualified…he wouldn’t be where he is. Obviously, he has done what he needed to do i.e. qualified. Next, your comment about black people still feeling they are owed something…ignorant. I don’t know what AFRICAN AMERICANS you’ve been dealing with but, I do believe we have come to terms and realized what we want and need we must get ourselves and knowing that we can’t FORGET where we came from in the process…It’s called knowing your past to have a better future. Or you know you can say it’s called knowing your history which obviously you don’t to make the comment you made about slavery. Wow….stupidity is not a virtue you want to carry. Next, you don’t have to like Luda anymore will he not sleep at night because of it?…the answer is no. Crap you say hmmm…no it’s called freedom of speech. Moving along, how can you call anyone a liar. You can’t say that with any faith or hold until he is in office and doesn’t do what he has promised. Once, again your lesson on politics and history is very shabby. Cause last time I checked Bush’s sorry ass is a liar as well. And, has been for the past 8 years. Maybe it runs in the family. I’m not even going to comment on the whole Mexican comment cause that was stupid all on its on. Right now…you seem like the only idiot.
For James: Wow…straight to the point. *AAAA* Wrong. You left everyone to believe because of “Cheap Lyrics” you will vote for McCain…once you again you don’t have to like what is being said. No one cares. You want to vote for McCain, OMG go ahead.
For Natalia and Oscar: My hats off to you. Leaving comments that actually makes sense. Thankyou

This election is not about race or gender—it’s about who is ready to lead on day 1 Period. Regardless of who you are going to vote for I challenge you to be well informed citizens and research ALL of the Presidential Candidates to include third party. It is foolish to vote for someone because of race, gender, or any other superficial reason. Let’s stick to the issues. This election is too important for people just to make a haphazard decision.

I like Luda a lot but this song is just wrong. I’m all for freedom of speech and he can say whatever he wants but this is just disappointing to all of Luda’s fans and the political supporters of Barack Obama as well. Obama will push on through, even after McCain has used this song against him, because Barack holds his head high and carries himself with integrity. The only person that is being made to look like a fool by this song is Luda. Liberated Black Americans, please, encourage each other to embrace knowledge, personal values, integrity, education, family, and career. Make your ancestors proud by becoming one of the strongest, most influencial, and respected forces in the country that abused them. Blacks have come a long way in the last two-hundred and thirty-two years. Your ancestors wanted equality and it’s yours for the taking. Nevermind about Luda. Luda made himself, and others that share his attitudes in this song look ignorant. If you want to see what the “ignorant trailer trash” of the black community looks like - look no further, Luda is a prime example. If Luda were white he’d be sipping cheap beer at a nascar race with a mullet, a wife-beater t-shirt, and a baseball cap that said “McCain ‘08″, good job Luda - you fail at politics, friend.
