Christian Bale, talented actor and star of the smash hit The Dark Knight, was arrested Tuesday on charges of assaulting his mother and his sister at a hotel room in London.

Christian Bale, 34, voluntarily turned himself in to the Metropolitan police after his mother and sister filed assault charges against him on Sunday. However, Bale was allowed to attend the Monday night London premiere of The Dark Knight, where he appeared anxious and distraught in many of the photographs. Not much more information is known at this time, but we’ll stay on the lookout for more as it emerges.
One important aspect to note about Mr. Bale is that his step-mother is none other than feminist Gloria Steinem. I’m sure she would have some choice words to say to Christian should these allegations of abuse be true.

it’s too bad that people keep bothering Christian Bale about these rumors, he seems like a solid guy in general
