Ron Wood met Ekaterina Ivanova at an escort bar where she was a cocktail waitress. According to the Daily Mail, 61-year-old Ron has walked out on his wife and their four children to be with Ekaterina, who is only 18. His wife Jo, is said to be very distraught over the situation, even begging Ekaterina not to take her husband from her. Ekaterina allegedly responded by telling her friends that she is not taking him, he is leaving.
Friends and family are concerned that his actions are related to his alcoholism, which the famed guitarist admitted to having problems with back in 2000. A friend said,
“It’s all connected with his drinking. He is drinking two bottles of vodka a day. He doesn’t remember anything or know where he is. It looks like he’s risking his life.”
Ron’s wife, Jo Wood told the Telegraph that she knew Ron and Ekaterina were hanging out at his Ireland home, where he was painting and it was fine with her until Ivanova started telling friends that she and Ron are romantically involved.
Ron and Jo have been married for 23 years and friends say Ron is partying with the 18 year old because he knows his friends and family will not tolerate it. A source said,
‘He went out and found himself a drinking partner — that is what this girl is. He knows that his family wouldn’t tolerate him behaving like this so he has run away to go and drink himself crazy.’
Update: NOTW has some scandalous pictures of Ronnie and Ekaterina sharing a romantic meal together. According to NOTW Ronnie’s wife Joanne has called in the lawyers:
“Jo has had enough of his behaviour. She feels humiliated, spurned and furious that her best friend has treated her like that. She has spoken with her legal team—and they’ve made it clear she is in a terrifically strong position.”
Ronnie may loose $25 million dollars in that divorce settlement!

I never looked at it from this angle before, but this certainly is interesting and will make me think more about this. Probably will come back and have another read on this site.
