“. . . he wakes like how he went to bed, because I wake up looking like a Chihuahua,” Ripa told Page Six Magazine. “He closes his eyes, and he’s gorgeous, and he wakes up, and he’s gorgeous. And he doesn’t have morning breath.”

Actor Mark Consuelos was born in Zaragoza, Spain on March 30, 1970, and that makes his age 38. He has one brother who is a doctor, and one sister who is a lawyer. He moved to the United States during his childhood, and he grew up in Lebanon, Illinois and Tampa, Florida. As a child he learned English by watching television. He is 5′10″.
He attended Bloomingdale High School in Valrico, Florida, and then Notre Dame University. He left Notre Dame University, however, and returned to Tampa where he graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
He appeared in “Hello, Dolly” at the Looking Glass Playhouse while he lived in Illinois. He was a guest on television shows such as “Fortune Hunter” (1994) and “SeaQuest DSV” (1993) before joining the “All My Children” cast in 1995. It was there that he met Kelly Ripa. They were love interests on the show and quickly became love interests in real life, too. The two were married on May 1, 1996. They have three children: Michael Joseph (June 2, 1997), Lola Grace (June 16, 2001), and Joaquin Antonio (February 24, 2003). Twelve years of marriage is somewhat of a record for celebrities, and we congratulate them on their marital happiness and perseverance.
He can currently be seen on the Lifetime cable network series “Missing.” He also occasionally drops by the set of “Live With Regis and Kelly.” All I can say is, “Kelly, you can complain all you want to about how gorgeous Mark Consuelos is, but we won’t be feeling sorry for you.”

I absolutely adore Mark Consuelos! I have been fans of he and Kelly Ripa since their days on All My Children…They have such a beautiful family as well.

When he first appeared on “All My Children” I was a die-hard fan of the show. I never missed it. I loved the interaction between his character, Mateo, and Kelly’s character. I don’t watch AMC anymore, but I still remember how great he was on the show.

I grew up in St. Louis about 20 miles east of Lebanon, but my father had a second house there and spent a lot of time there when I was a child (and planning on going to the uni there in the fall.
How could I not know he grew up there? How could I not know he did a show at the LGP … and I did the music man there 8 1/2 years ago? How am I just finding this out today?
