PEOPLE exclusively revealed Mariah-Nick wedding photos today and even Mariah confirmed the report for the first time, after the totally unexpected news broke out last week.
“We really do feel we are soulmates,” Carey tells, following their sunset ceremony at the pop star’s Bahamian estate. “I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me.”
Carey is shown wearing a white wedding dress, and is all smiles while locked in arms with Cannon, who is looking handsome in an all-white suite.
The ‘Touch My Body’ singer, 38, married beau Nick Cannon in a secret ceremony in the Bahamas on April 30.
Cannon adds: “She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside.�
Many stories had earlier suggested that the wedding news was just to build hype around Mariah’s new album release, but she’s just caught them red-handed… the timing couldn’t have been better though!
Some sources suggest, Nick and Mariah are now planning a big party for all the pals when they return from their honeymoon.

Mariah has a beautiful voice but her outward appearance is way too high maintenance for me. Her ‘marriage’ to Nick Cannon is way too weird because they are really mis-matched. I think Mariah realized she wasn’t getting any younger and needed someone to fawn over her, because she constantly craves attention. She probably wasn’t getting any attention, as she constantly wants and needs. I do think Nick is using Mariah and sees how desperate for attention she is. I don’t trust that brother. Bad track record. Once a dog, always a dog.
