Meet Tiffany Shepherd, a biology teacher who got fired from her job at Port St. Lucie High School in Florida. She claims it was because of her second job as a bikini mate on a fishing tour boat after school, a story she recently revealed on the Tyra Banks show. See her photos and biography below.

As a biography, Tiffany is a newly single mother of three kids, ages 2, 6, and 9, and worked for the St. Lucie County School District for four years. After a divorce earlier this year put a strain on her finances, she had to find a second job. She began working as a bikini mate for Smokin’ Em Charters. It was a new business venture that her boss, Gil Coombes and his wife, Kat, had started, which combines fishing and a bevy of bikini clad beauties. The job requirement for a Bikini Mate was posted on the Smokin’ Em Charters website - “look hot in a bikini”. There are some bikini mates who are semi-nude on the website, but Tiffany did not go topless while on the boat. But she did do this.
Tiffany’s appearance on the Tyra Banks show was well received. Banks: “Take a look at these photos of Tiffany. She’s a high school biology teacher and she says she was fired after she took a second job as a bikini mate on a charter fishing boat.”
She said, “I can make $600 in two days’ fishing. That’s a week’s pay for me.”
School officials claim that Tiffany’s Bikini Mate job was not the reason she got fired. They say she missed more than 30 days this school year. Hmmmmm.

For a 30 year old mother of 3 kids, this lady doesn’t need to take her top off on the job. She looks great, and the school board should never have let her go for trying to take care of her family. What’s next, firing people for fishing at the beach in a bikini??

Exactly lobo96. She’s a mother of 3? i mean cmon, give her a bloody break already. She’s trying to feed/cloth/house her FAMILY ffs. Just Like the millions of other people on this gimped planet. And see looks really good!!. Just because some fat people don’t like looking at people WHO actually take care of themselves, is seriously pathetic. I hate fat people, always have, always will. Wish most would just die already….

She wasn’t fired for looking good in a bikini, she was fired for missing a lot of work unexcused. Most likely to go work on the boat. If she wants to skip her job as a teacher to go work on a boat as a bikini mate then she shouldn’t be complaining about getting fired. How could of a teacher could she be? She used up ALL of her allowed sick time (10 days) before the end of September!!

It sounds like she has had attendance problems at this school, and “attitude” problems at a previous school. If she were a model teacher in every way - then NO she should not be fired for her second job, just maybe take down some of the more suggestive pictures from the website. But I think the school district probably got tired of her taking time off - she sounds like people I’ve worked with who would use ANY illness of their own or a family member to file for a leave of abscence under FMLA.
Yeah, she’s hot, but apparently a LOSER employee!!!

I am a teacher. I dont judge or blame her. There is nothing that got in the way of her teaching or did it involve students. She is allowed her private life and I dont blame her for trying to supplement income. Teachers are paid very low. Most people dont have the guts to work two jobs.

People, you need to stick to the facts or at least agree to them. She was not fired for:
1) Trying to take care of her 3 kids, which SHE chose to have before the age of 30 or being a single mother after a divorce the school had nothing to do with. These are “take pity on her” arguments that have nothing to do with her firing.
2) Having a 2nd job as a booblicious fishing mate, which only required “looking hot in a bikini”.
Her supposedly first chosen profession of teaching little kids in elementary school involves setting an example, within and outside the class, that says “You are in school to get an education to train your brain so that you don’t have to sell your body in the streets like so many women end up doing in a lot of 3rd world countries”. Letting others ogle her boobs for bucks hypocritically undermines the school’s message of “brains before boobs”! What is next? Priests pole dancing for dollars because they couldn’t get enough at the collection plate on Sunday? There are usually COMMON SENSE limitations on what outside activities you can engage in, if you want to be taken seriously in your chosen profession.
The bikini teacher was fired for missing 30 UNEXCUSED days from her job. That is six 5-day school weeks with no permission from her employer! Does anyone know of any job where you can miss 6 unexcused work weeks without getting fired? She should have been fired after one unexcused week, not six! As a property tax paying citizen, I don’t care to pay for her absence while she pursues more profitable and less intellectually demanding opportunities elsewhere.
If she thinks that she was wrongfully terminated, then let her sue in the courts, which she hasn’t done yet. That is because she knows she doesn’t have a case! Where are all the lawyers scrambling to defend her if it was so obviously an injustice to fire her?
I tend to believe a school system that bended over backwards to accomodate her, rather than a selfish, unreliable teacher, who obviously didn’t care about the disruption her unexcused absences caused on her students and co-workers. She should get a clue that her firing wasn’t about what she did after hours, but what she did not do DURING school hours! Vain woe-is-me types like the bikini teacher don’t get that it is not about her, but her many absences. It is about the students and taxpayers like me who expect her to teach for her contractually agreed upon pay, not whenever she feels like it. I say, GOOD RIDDANCE!

She should be arrested for messing up her lovely body with those stupid and ugly tats
