Artie Lange is a stand-up comic most notably known for appearing on ‘The Howard Stern Show.’ You can see his biography, photos and video below.

Artie Lange was involved in an on-air dispute this morning with his assistant. When Stern learned of the argument involving finances, he brought the two in studio to discuss their differences. The verbal altercation turned physical and other members of the show stepped in to defuse the situation. In the heat of the moment, Lange offered his resignation and Stern accepted, but told him to leave and cool off. Lange replied,

“I’m not a good person … I gotta leave … I love you.?

The Howard Stern Show is not live on Friday and they are on vacation next week, which makes me wonder if the whole thing was planned.

Artie Lange Biography

Artie Lange was born October 11, 1967 in Union, New Jersey which makes his age 40. His mother stayed home while his father was a general contractor, and also apparently made counterfeit money in his spare time.

Lange graduated high school, where he played baseball, and went on to find himself arrested for attempting to rob a bank. Lange contends he was only trying to get the attention of a female bank tellar. The police were not impressed and he received two years probation and community service.

After robbing banks proved unsuccessful, Lange went to the Connecticut School of Broadcasting and started doing stand up comedy. It was in 1995 when he got his big break with MadTv. Lange lost the gig when his addictions, including cocaine, became a problem. Police were once called to the set where Artie was arrested for cocaine possession and assaulting an officer.

Lange has been linked to long-time on-again, off-again girlfriend Dana Sironi. The two have parted ways many times because of Artie’s addictions and most recently broke ties when she discovered Lange’s hotel reservations, which included three Penthouse Pets.

I just want you to know that the show being live on friday has NOTHING to do with the fight! If you listen to the show all the time they don’t tape live shows on Firdays they play old shows. Also I think everyone is wrong I think Artie and Howard are going to be fine it was fight just like a family fight and they are going to work it out they are too close to just throw a friendship away! So to repeat there is NEVER a live show on Friday!!
