Now before you go all nuts you should know that pregnant man, Thomas Beatie is a transgender man. S/He was born a woman, but had her breasts surgically removed and took testosterone to look like a male, but kept her female organs intact.
“Sterilization is not a requirement for sex reassignment, so I decided to have chest reconstruction and testosterone therapy but kept my reproductive rights,� he told The Advocate.
Beatie has been legally allowed by a court to identify herself as a male, as well as marry a female. His wife was not able to conceive, so he stopped his testosterone treatments and began in-vitro fertilization. He is now 22 weeks pregnant. He tells The Advocate;
“How does it feel to be a pregnant man? Incredible. Despite the fact that my belly is growing with a new life inside me, I am stable and confident being the man that I am.�
Arighty then! There is nothing shocking in this world anymore.

Why have you blocked out his nipples in the photo? Last I checked it was perfectly socially acceptable to display topless men in the media.
Why are you referring to this man with female pronouns? Again, last I checked, gender is a social construct, different from biological sex. Using the words ‘her’ and ’s/he’ is really disrespectful to his obviously male identity.

All it comes down to is the fact that if “he” really is pregnant, “he” is not a man at all. A woman disguised as a man? Big deal.
