Despite the portrayal of a united and unselfish family, Heath Ledgers family now has it’s claws out and their palms ready. Heath’s uncles want Kim, his father, to be removed as the executer of the estate. The family is concerned that he will mess it up as he allegedly did 15 years ago with his own father’s estate.
Heath’s Uncle Mike said that Kim’s recent statement that Matilda “will be taken care of” was not enough assurance. “When you are talking about large sums of money like this it should be an independent executor, but Kim hasn’t chosen that way.”
Heaths will was written is 2003, in which he left everything o his parents and sisters. He had yet to meet Michelle Williams and have his daughter, Matilda.
I don’t see where it’s anyone’s business to worry about where the money is going, except for Michelle. If she feels that Matilda isn’t taken care of, then I want to hear about it. But I think Kim will stand by his word and granddaughter, as you saw from the funeral photos, they seem very united.
