Along with the rocker boyfriend, tattoos, and crazy nights, comes going to work stoned, drunk and sometimes both. Ashlee Simpson gave us a glimpse into her new life style with boyfriend, Peter Wentz. Ash hit up Hot 99.5’s, and visited with Kane to promote her new album. Apparently the redhead still had a buzz from the night before, because she was all over the place and slurring her words. She talked about her new tattoo, her new red hair, and of course her album.

“It’s a peony,� the singer explained, pronouncing the word “pee-OH-knee� then giggling when the radio host corrected her….I’m pretty impulsive and if I want to change my mind, I do…but the red, I’m pretty happy with the red.�

The best stoner moment of them all was when Ashlee tried to explain her “genius� single.

“The best line in the song is uh…you know…the come over line….uh…um…it’s pretty genius…it’s um…I’m not over it so come over…um….pretty genius….the girl kind of thing…..um….ehehehehehehe.â€?

I’m surprised Papa Joe didn’t come in there and drag her out claiming some BS sickness.

Her rep denies Ashlee being drunk or stoned, instead she was “simply tired.”

“She has been working extremely hard traveling across the country to promote her upcoming new album by performing at night and waking up very early the next day to do radio interviews in the morning — like any of us would be — she was simply just tired.
