Did you know that American Idol’s David Hernandez once worked as a stripper? It’s unknown if his racy past will get him booted from the competition. See the photos below.

Gordy Bryan, manager for Dick’s Cabaret, said that Hernandez worked as a stripper for the club in Phoenix, Arizona for three years and quit on September 30, 2007.
“He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here,” Bryan said.
David did perform totally nude and gave lap dances to the “mostly male” clientèle of Dick’s Cabaret. When David wasn’t working at Dick’s (heh heh), David was a bartender at the now defunct gay nightclub Burn in Phoenix, which closed down in January. You can see photos of him while at Burn here.
It will be interesting to see if this stripper information will disqualify David from American Idol. In 2003, Frenchie Davis got the boot after a photo of her on an adult website surfaced and who can forget last year’s Antonella Barba? She had herself some major NSFW photos all over the net and she didn’t get disqualified, although she did not make it into the Elite Top 12.

he’s a good singer. he ain’t a criminal. he did nobody any bad. what’s the point of not voting for him in spite of his talent?
