Nicole Richie is considering taking the lead role as Roxie in the Broadway production of Chicago. A source close to the star said:

“She’s definitely interested and weighing it up with the timing of the baby. It is in the super early stages of discussions and no decision has been made yet.â€?

Since the birth of her baby, Harlow Winter Kate, Nicole has had some incredible offers. She is trying to weigh out her options and do what’s best for her family.

Nicole does have some acting experience; she has starred in the TV shows ‘American Dreams’ and ‘Kids in America.’ However we have yet to see if she can dance and sing, and following RenĂ©e Zellweger’s Academy Award nomination role is going to be a tough act to follow.
