In heartbreaking celebrity news today, Jelani the four-year-old daughter of rap star Juvenile, has been killed. Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr., 17 fatally shot Joy Deleston, his mother, and her two little girls, one of whom was Juvenile’s daughter Jelani. This comes as a shock to the neighborhood as Joy Deleston, was a Sheriff’s Deputy and they seemed to be a wonderful family.
Police were called to Deleston’s home in the quiet subdivision because shots were fired. Upon arrival, police found a bullet hole in the house. Knowing a deputy lived there they checked the house and found the bodies. A deputy said,
“There was no answer, but lights were on. They opened the door a little bit to announce themselves, then discovered the bodies.â€?
Neighbors are shocked and shaken. A neighbor said,
“It’s so shocking because you don’t expect something like this to happen….For him to be scared of our dog and then to kill his whole family … it just doesn’t add up.â€?
The motive for the horrendous murders is unclear, and the details are still being investigated. However prosecutors do know that since Anthony Tyrone Terrell Jr. is a minor, they cannot be seek the death penalty. A preliminary hearing will be set next week in Gwinnett County Superior Court.

I want to say that I am sorry about your baby girl. Life is so strange because you never know what is going to happen. I have four children of my own ranging from 14 to 7 years old. I wouldn’t know what I would do if I have to be in your shoes. I pray for you and your family as well as the 17 year old that was involved. Only the Lord can ease your pain. You have touched millions and I hope that “fans and family” can touch you by supporting you in this difficult time in your life.
