2008 Academy Awards (Oscar Winners) Sunday, February 24

The live telecast on Sunday, February 24th, will begin at 8:00 PM EST on ABC from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. New this year is the addition of the Oscar YouTube channel, where you can see highlights and speeches from the winners. Check it out here.

Major favorite to win Best Picture is No Country For Old Men with Javier Bardem expecting to win Best Supporting actor for his role in the film as well. Heavily favored Daniel Day-Lewis could be the Best Actor winner for his role in There Will Be Blood.

For the women, winners predicted are Marion Cotillard, who could pull an upset Best Actress win for her role in La Vie En Rose, and the Best Supporting Actress category looks to be up for grabs. 83-year-old Ruby Dee for her role in American Gangster or 13-year-old Saoirse Ronan for her role in Atonement are both front runners.
