Able to attend on name recognition alone up until now, Paris Hilton is now weeping in her already-purchased $3.9 million dress after being told she has been banned from the Oscars on February 24.

Paris Hilton’s latest film, “The Hottie and the Nottie”, apparently not an Academy Award contender, grossed only $9,000 during its opening weekend. And now the heiress is receiving bad news yet again - she is not allowed to attend the biggest awards ceremony of the year. No word on why the Paris ban is in place, but upon hearing the news, reportedly:

“She cried hot, salty tears when she was banned from the Oscars. She’s desperate to be taken seriously as an actress and hoped she would be able to network with film executives.”

Paris is still considering attending the post-award show parties, though.

I think this is that point in life where Paris should face reality. It’s ok just being an heiress and C-list actress - you’ll still find cameramen to follow you around without the blockbuster movie.
