Meet Bridget McCain, the 16-year-old Bangladesh adopted daughter of Senator John McCain and his wife, Cindy McCain. See photos and a biography of Bridget below.
Bridget McCain
As a biography Bridget was adopted by Presidential hopeful John McCain and his wife Cindy McCain in 1993 when Bridget was 10 weeks old. Cindy was visiting a Bangladesh orphanage with Mother Teresa and other medical personnel when Cindy met Bridget. Mother Teresa convinced Cindy to take Bridget back with her to the U.S. to receive medical care. When Cindy returned to the U.S. with Bridget in tow, she told John, “Say hello to your new little daughter.”
Bridget is the youngest of the McCain siblings. She currently attends a private school in Phoenix. She plays basketball and volleyball, and like most teenagers, loves to hang out with friends.
“School is awesome because of my friends,� Bridget McCain said. “It’s important for kids to be respectful to each other and help one another to make school better for everyone.�

i am black and a democrate and i am proud of the mccain’s for having a big enough heart to love someone less fortunate than themselves, no matter what race she is, they will be blessed always! we as a people need to stop this race card, God loves is all equally, he has no respect of person, may God bless and keep the mccain’s in his care always and forever!!!

God bless the McCain family. giving their hearts to a precious child (before it was considered the “in” thing to do ) What an amazing life story. Senator McCain with his strength as a POW. Cindy with her pain killer addiction(I have had surgery on my neck and I know where she comes from). If these people don’t deserve to be in the White House, then I don’t know who does.

Why wasn’t she there when McCain won the primary season? Why are they hiding her? All the light is shone on meghan and her armed force fighting brothers but nothing for Bridget. Why are they ashamed of her? Yes she’s fat and looks like a guy but she’s their family too.

I don’t think the Mccain’s are hiding this child, they in a sense are giving her the privacy that every one yearns for. The son’s are not in the spot light either, as is the desires of Mr. Mccain, Meghan is in the news due to the fact that it is her own wishes to join in the campaign for her Daddy..Whats wrong with that? Seems to me that some people are maing a fuss out of something that is not there.

I cannot believe some are saying they are hiding their adopoted daughter. They also have two sons in the military. They are not hiding their children. They are simply not using them for political gain. I am so impressed by that!
John Mccain also has two adopted sons who are the biological son’s of his first wife. He doesn’t advertise the fact that he has three adopted children because clearly he doesn’t think they are any different than his biological children and doesn’t want to use any of them for political gain. It is in part because of that that I want this man as my president!

The part of the story that says that Cindy McCain had contact with Mother Theresa has been shown to be a fabrication, according to the Christian Science Monitor.
