On January 31, the cast of “Friday Night Lights” came together for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ “An Evening with Friday Night Lights”. At the event it was revealed that Connie Britton’s character, Tami, might become involved in a little love triangle.
As a biography, Connie Britton was born March 6, 1968 in Boston, Massachusetts, so her age is 39. Her measurements are 5’8″. Her family moved to Lynchburg, Virginia when she was 7. She attended Dartmouth University as an Asian Studies major, during which she studied Chinese in Beijing for a semester. After graduation, she moved to New York City and began studying acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse.
Connie has been acting since 1995 when she landed the role of Molly in “The Brother McMullen”. After the movie’s success, she moved to Los Angeles, where she played on “Spin City” for 5 seasons. Britton can now be seen on the “Friday Night Lights” television series playing the coach’s wife Tami; she played the same role in the 2004 movie opposite Billy Bob Thornton, though the character had a different name.
Connie enjoys hiking and yoga when she’s not on the set. She previously worked as an aerobics instructor. She is currently working on a documentary about the orphans in Ethiopia.
