The Spice Girls have ended their tour, and they wanted to be able to say good-bye to everyone, not just the fans at their last show. So they filmed a little farewell to officially end their reunion tour.

The Spice Girls began their reunion tour on December 2, 2007 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Their last show turns out to be February 26, 2008 in Toronto, after they cut the world tour short. While some speculate the tour ending is due to tensions behind the scenes, the girls insist this is not the case, but rather cite things like family commitments.

Geri Halliwell said,

“The tour has actually gone on longer than we anticipated. We thought we were going to go with one gig. That was how it started, then we planned until the end of January and then we actually extended it.”

Victoria Beckham added,

“We have children who need to go back to school and we have always said our families are our priorities, so we want to thank all of our fans. Sorry we didn’t get to see everybody. We had a great time.”

Bitter fans say it’s because the girls have made all the money they’ve wanted to so they’re throwing in the towel.

Victims of the tour’s cutting are Australia, China, South Africa, and Argentina.
