In June 2004, Mary-Kate Olsen entered treatment for anorexia. There had been speculation for months, and she finally gave in to the concerns of family and friends.

Now Mary-Kate is speaking out about how difficult it was to deal with the stress of recovery. She goes to far to say that anorexia nearly killed her. She says,
“There have definitely been times in my life when I just turned to people and said, ‘I’m done - this is too much for me. This is too over-whelming.’”
Olsen has had more troubles in her life recently, losing friend Heath Ledger. Ledger was staying at an apartment linked to to Mary-Kate, and the masseuse even called the actress three times before calling the police when Heath’s body was found.
