Keely Shaye-Smith is in the news today after frolicking on the beach in Hawaii with her husband, Pierce Brosnan. Pierce has been quoted as saying, “I love my wife’s curves!”
As a biography, Keely Shaye-Smith was born September 25, 1964 in Vallejo, California. Her measurements are 5′8.5″.
Keely acted in several television roles during the 1980s, but it never went much further than that. For several years in the 1990s, she served as a correspondent on “Unsolved Mysteries”. She also served as a journalist on Entertainment Tonight and the Today Show.
Keely supposedly wrote a two-volume book set entitled “The Weekend Gardener”, but there is nothing that shows the book was ever published.
Smith met and fell in love with actor Pierce Brosnan on a green mission trip to Mexico. Of his wife, Pierce has said,
“I found a great woman in Keely. Not if I searched a million times over would I find one as good.”
Keely and Pierce have two biological children together, Dylan Thomas born in 1997, and Paris Beckett born in 2001. They also have three children from Pierce’s first marriage, Sean, fathered by Pierce, and Charlotte and Christopher, step-children that Pierce adopted.
Keely and Pierce were married August 4, 2001 in County Mayo, Ireland. At the ceremony, Keely surprised Pierce with an ice sculpture of Rodin’s The Kiss.
In 2006, Vogue’s shape issue profiled Keely, who says she is very comfortable with her curves.
“I never hide in baggy clothing. … Fit is key, and oftentimes all it takes is a simple remedy to get it right. For example, if a jacket is pulling in the bust, I might just move the button an inch.”
On March 10, 2007, Keely and Pierce, along with two of their sons, went to “Terminate the Terminal” press conference. They were adding their voice to the protest of the liquefied natural gas project that proposed building a 14-story terminal off the coast of Malibu, where the Brosnans live. Smith has long been a fighter for the environment - she even filmed a documentary segment on chimpanzees with Jane Goodall that aired on PBS.
Now, after spending time on the beach in Hawaii, Keely is making news again. A lot are criticizing her figure, but I think it’s refreshing to see normal-sized people in Hollywood.

I think she looks wonderful. Who cares is she doesn’t have the bod of a barbie doll. She looks happy and comfortable with herself, and she should.

Keely~ Hopefully you aren’t perusing these sites to see what people think about your photos. But, in the event that you are …
*You are absolutely gorgeous and I’m not saying that because I think all curvaceous women are attractive. In fact, I detest when certain women, who are clearly obese, allege they’re happy with their curves.
*As a Casting Director here in LA, it sickens me when producers look at someone’s size before their talent. Meanwhile, a lot of these people are gay men or over-weight women!
*When people thought Britney Spears was fat, I was mortified.
*People on TMZ are 20-something morons who insult people for a living. It’s purely disgusting.
*I hope we don’t see you on a Jenny Craig commercial or a Nutri-System spot where people like Jillian Barberie are engaged in false advertising (we believe that is her pregnant picture in the “before” shot)
*PLEASE continue to be the face of women everywhere.

Pierce, youre a good man and husband for having the looks and celebrity that you have, and still be married to a fat woman like that.
I’m sure Keely is a stay at home mom, the least she can do is get back in shape, get some lipo, gastic banding, or personal trainer (they can certainly afford it), and look good for her husband. Yea, beauty is skin deep, but in show business, looking good in movies and at functions is what brings the money….and until they make the next bond girl a 300 lb whale, dont tell me that if Pierce had a choice, he’d choose a 300lb Keely over her more skinier past….AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE WHETHER YOU WANT TO BELIEVE IT OR NOT

This woman is way over obese. Stop lying! And as to their relationship, known of us really know. They are both actors, and great liars. How can she be an environmental journalist when she has never been to college, never written a serious piece. Just because you “narrate” an environmental piece or something about animals does not make you an environmental journalist! It’s as if she “says” she is and everyone believes it. Just like the book!!!She knows she has a good thing in the hubby but I guess she figures she will always get half so why care.

More cushin’ for the pushin’! I think that she is beautiful and wished I had looked that good when I weighed 60 pounds more, otherwise I would have kept my weight on! Some of the most beautiful women are heavy! I am proud of Pierce and have more respect for him now that I know about his wife!!!

His first wife died of cancer, and has anyone who has gone through that knows, the body wastes away, and in the end all that is left if you are lucky is love. All pretenses are swept away and nothing could matter less than a “hot body” in a bikini. All that is important is what is on the inside and in the mind and heart…the essential part of being a human. This bashing of women, for being either too “thin” or too “fat” is demeaning to all women and any other woman who does it (and its mostly women who make the negative comments) should be ashamed of themselves.

I am just wondering why she put on so much weight so quickly. Usually, people who are thin to begin with do not put on so much weight so fast; rather, its a gradual increase overall.
I am glad she obviously doesn’t give two hoots about her weight’s/body’s critics. Let them talk, Keely. Your husband is clearly happy being married to you, and they can probably not stand that.

man is man. we all know that. if -in his marriage- pierce attracts to other lady, could you blame him? he’s surrounded by pretty good looking ladies at work everyday. if she keep shift the buttons an inch, do not blame him if one day something happened…
if until now pierce is cherish you, it does not mean that you do not need to keep your body in shape.
