It’s like straight out of “Legally Blonde”. Paris Hilton is going to Harvard. Not to take classes, but to accept a “Woman of the Year” award. Sure it’s from the university’s humor magazine, Harvard Lampoon, but still.

Paris Hilton Is Harvard Woman Of The Year

Paris Hilton

Not only is Paris Hilton the Woman of the Year, she’s going to Harvard on February 6 to accept it. The award is also called the “Hastiest Pudding of the Lampoon” award. It’s probably supposed to mean something, but I guess I just don’t get that smart kid humor.

Paris is going to stop by the campus during her promotional tour for the upcoming sure to be a blockbuster “The Hottie and the Nottie”. The socialite is expected to give an acceptance speech and everything - sure to be a good time.

For a second there I thought that Paris was actually being named Harvard’s Woman of the Year. And I couldn’t help but think of all the more deserving people out there. For instance,

  • Juco students the world over
  • the woman who invented the Bedazzler
  • Wendy Kaufman, the Snapple Lady
  • one of the Olsen twins, I don’t care which one
  • people who’ve never been to prison
  • American Idol rejects numbers 827-834
  • the entire cast of “Sex and the City”
  • the Jessica Simpson impersonator
