Katharine McPhee
Katharine McPhee seems to be running into a string of bad luck. First, RCA and McPhee parted ways after her self-titled album entered The Billboard chart at No.2 and went on to sell only 366,000 copies in the US. Now, Katharine is reportedly trying to sell the photos to her upcoming February wedding to Nick Cokas, but so far, there are no takers on the $60,000 asking price for the pictures.
“That’s a ridiculous amount,â€? snorts the source. “She was turned down by People, In Touch and OK! magazines.â€?
Apparently, US Weekly may be interested, but for a much smaller amount. American Idol will take the publicity anyway they can get it! Season 7 premieres tomorrow.

It’s pretty common these days. Celine Dion, Jennifer Aniston, Katie Holmes, even Donald Trump and a lot of others have sold their wedding pics. That way it lessens the value of the paparazzi pics, so they won’t be swarming all over.
If somebody gave me even half that amount for my wedding pics, I would have been married a half dozen times.

Update: Katharine sold the pics to InStyle magazine. She’ll be in some quarterly wedding edition they publish.
