Tanya and Jack recently announced that they are expecting their second child. The news came during a press conference for his new film ‘Be Kind Rewind’ but did not give the due date or sex of the child. The couple currently have a one-year-old son, Samuel Jason Haden Black.
As a biography, Tanya Haden was born on October 11, 1971 which makes her age 37. She is the daughter of jazz bassist Charlie Haden and grew up performing with her sisters Rachel and Petra as part of the group The Haden Triplets. Her brother, Josh, is also musically inclined as he was the lead singer of the group Spain.
Tanya has performed with several groups including Let’s Go Sailing. Haden has also done some animating. She is the creator of the Imaginary Bear puppet show and was the assistant animator for the Lint People.
Tanya and Jack Black met when they both attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica. Jack was attracted to Tanya then, but was unsuccessful in his courting attempts. Fate is a strange thing and 20 years later the two met at a friends party and this time he won her over and they began dating in 2005. A year later they married after Black proposed with a $220,000 Neil Lane ring.
