Meet Alicia Guastaferro, the 15-year-old beauty pageant participant and daughter of the latest star of “Wife Swap”, Karen Guastaferro. See her biography and photos here.
“Wife Swap” returned tonight, January 2, 2008, with a vengeance. Pageant mom Karen Guastaferro made headlines when she discussed how spoiled her daughter was, even admitting that she and her husband buy their daughter, Alicia Guastaferro, something everyday.
As a biography, Alicia Guastaferro is 15 years old of age and lives in Buffalo, New York.
Alicia has been participating in beauty pageants since she was 11 months old. In 2000, she was named Little Miss Buffalo. In 2003, she was named Miss Congeniality in the Gingerbread Nationals. In 2005, she won Outstanding Sportwear in Miss New York’s Outstanding Teen 2005 competition. In a 2006 Outstanding Teen competition she won the “Jubilee” award.
Guastaferro also participates in gymnastics. She was named to the Inferno team of the Greater Buffalo Elite Heat. And she makes the grades – in 2005 she made the honor roll.
So what could possibly go wrong? In 2008, her family starred on the premiere episode of “Wife Swap” on ABC. The Guastaferro family is fairly wealthy and believes in showering their daughter Alicia with gifts. For New Year’s, she got a 2008 Chevy Tahoe … and she’s not even old enough to drive it. The car was only one gift of 364 given in 2007, because the family believes in giving Alicia a gift everyday. Karen Guastaferro says,
“We do have a Christmas tree year-round and she does get a gift everyday. Its not like big gifts everyday, but she does get a small reward, like makeup or small item. Its kind of like the simple, enjoy everyday — It’s Christmas every day.”
So of course Alicia is a fan of the life she gets to live.
“I live a very carefree life where I have no chores. I have anything I want, I get. Its a great life. I love it.”
The real world is going to be interesting, honey. Alicia also said on the show,
“I do feel sorry for people that are not gorgeous people,” Alicia said on the show.
But not as sorry as they feel for you, Alicia.

you’d think her parents would leave a speech therapist under her christmas tree one day. then maybe she’d sound a little less like daffy duck. are the veneers making her talk like that? one can’t expect much more when you’ve been birthed by a drag-queen mother and pedo father. i can’t expect she understands enough about genetics to realize that she’ll one day grow to resemble them. she’s already on her way to being built like a truck driver. lay off the lighty toasted bagels and fried eggs, girl!
there are plenty of people out there that are gorgeous, LITERATE and eloquent! it’s a waste of beauty to not exercise your mind. this unfortunate young lady will peak at 17 and i have a feeling she’ll be freakishly chock full of plastic surgery (ala joan rivers) by the time she is 30.

The father of the Guastaferro family most likely popped his daughters cherry already. As much as he seemed to like getting down on his knees in front of her, it certainly seemed that way.
Both mothers, in both of the families portrayed, need to back the fuck up on their “sparkle”/”feminist” tripe – and come to a compromise on both. Frankly, everyone who was on that show needs to go see a therapist.

I don’t understand how Alicia’s father called the new mom abusive?!! He was the one name calling with “feminist pig” (the tone he used was actually scary). He also told a grown woman who was calmly having a discussion with him to “go to bed!”.
These “parents” are really to blame for Alicia’s shortcomings. It’s amazing the Guastaferro’s believe that being gorgeous is the answer to life’s problems – lets face it neither one is very attractive. People like this is why America has such a bad reputation overseas–shallow, stupid people. I am ashamed of anyone outside of this country seeing this program and thinking these people represent the vast majority.

really.. everyone needs to stop calling the girl names. No doubt things are terribly wrong but it is the parents who are completely at fault. How would you turn out if u were brainwashed all your life. i really hope that she finds out who she is. the parents are idiots. also, i agree with the feminist view but that is not the only thing they should be taught. Those girls need to be well rounded. The oldest Boss daughter is obviously very intelligent, but she needs to have fun in life and explore other things. lastly, both sets of parents are very extreme and need to relax a little.

Yep she seems like she needs a good slap. But it’s not her fault she’s been brought up like this. Might not be as obvious as neglect of violence but her upbringing has been abusive, they’ve caused her harm and will ultimately lead to her having a miserable life. This is her parents fault. We are products of our upbringing!

The girl looks and acts sooo dumb. I couldn’t believe it. She should work on becoming a better person in other ways by being intelligent educationally, helping other people (when you give to others you give to yourself, philosophy). She has accomplished being the best looking airhead in the dumbest, stupidest way possible and her parents are proud of her. For what? a self obsessed, materialistic, superficial, all about her attitude. What a waste!

I can only bet that if a teacher did bring up anything about Alica’s scores her parents were right there in the principals office, screaming their heads off. I’ve seen it before when i work curtsy in the front office with some parents.
I think the parents are more to blame than the teachers who are probably more annoyed that they can’t do anything to change Alica’s bad school habits.
can’t wait for her to hit college, that remedial professor will be pissed.

Okay, just so you all know, I’m a freshman at Williamsville East high school, and on my first day of school when I didn’t know anybody, Alicia saw me almost crying at my locker because I didn’t know where I was going and she helped me. At the time I didn’t know anything about this whole wife swap thing and I personally think it’s horrible that everyone is that mean to her. Sure, she’s spoiled, but obviously that show is scripted! Why else would anyone watch it? They have to up the drama or else no one would. Alicia is a really sweet (down to earth, no) person. She gets whatever she wants, but I think if people got to know her instead of thinking only of wife swap, they’d understand her more. Overall, I think a lot of people are letting off steam for something they have no two-sided information about. The only thing most people heard were her ditzy (yes) comments, but no one really gets her whole personality. Think about that for a change.

I knew a girl once who was beautiful, sporty and popular (she was quite smart too), but spoiled like hell. She wasn’t evil, absolutely no. But she did feel sorry for people less attractive than her.
This is why she was so sweet to me and my friends. She honestly thought that us being less popular and less model like was something we actually cared for. So her sweetness was looking down on us and trying to lower herself into our level. She wasn’t evil, but ignorant and stupid.
She still hugs me like i’m the sickest person in the world, her words are charity to me and she talks to everyone like they are children. She IS a kind soul, but goddamn annoying.
PS. I also think there is something wrong with her eyesight, because i’ve always been hot as hell (more booty, but i like it).
I’m sorry, but these kinds of persons are tought to think better of themselves, that is why their kindness doesn’t always ask something for return, but simply makes them feel even higher.
