Michael Lohan in Times Square Nativity Scene

Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan, played the role of Joseph last night in a Times Square recreation of the Nativity Scene. Could there be a worse choice? The production was staged in a small park on West 48th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. Michael was dressed the part and even spent some time cradling the baby Jesus, which was thankfully a doll. Michael was asked to compare holding the baby Jesus to holding Lindsay when she was a baby.

“I can’t compare Baby Jesus to baby Lindsay!” Michael Lohan replied.

Wow. Michael Lohan, a born again Christian, spent the night sitting in hay while revolving actresses played the Virgin Mary. They would take turns holding and kneeling over the baby. People passing by had some reservations about Lohan playing the part of Joseph.

“I wonder how many ex-cons there are playing Joseph tonight,” said an onlooker. “He’s got to be the only one.”

Another person hoped out loud “…that Baby Jesus turns out a little better than Lindsay.” This guy will go anything for some publicity.
