Alycia Lane
Alycia Lane is a well-known television news anchor based in Philadelphia. She made news before by posing in a bikini, and she’s in it again for allegedly punching a New York police officer.
As a biography, Alycia Lane was born May 10, 1972 in Long Island, New York, so her age is 35. She attended the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University where she earned her Master’s Degree. Lane is now the news anchor for the 6 pm and 11 pm newscasts on KYW-TV in Philadelphia.
In May 2006, Alycia got some attention after a story she did about Princess Grace’s fiftieth wedding anniversary. During the private party, Lane was seen standing head to head with Prince Albert with her arms cozily wrapped around him, and later the two were seen holding hands and dancing.
In May 2007, Lane made news by sending saucy photos of herself in a bikini to NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen via email. Unfortunately for Alycia, Eisen’s wife, ABC college football sideline reporter Suzy Shuster shared the email account and opened the message. Suzy’s response became public - a letter in which she stated,
“Boy, do you look amazing in a bikini . . . congrats! Whatever you’re doing, (Pilates? yoga?) keep doing it - it’s working for you. Anyway, sorry but those seven e-mails you sent to my husband, Rich, well, oops, they came to the e-mail address we both use from time to time, but no worries, I’ll forward the beach shots as well as the ones of you dancing with your friends on to his main address. Do you have it?”
She then provides her hubby’s private e-mail, “since you surely are trying so hard to get his attention. I mean, what better way to get a guy’s attention than with skin! Best - Suzy Shuster Eisen”
Alycia Lane was apparently recently divorced when the photos were sent.
Now, Lane is in even more trouble. Early this morning, December 16, 2007, Alycia was stopped by a traffic cop. Having been accused of punching the police officer in the face, Lane is now being charged with assault. She was released from jail on her own recognizance.

KYW is a fu–ckng mess. As anyone who knows knows–Susan Schiller, Peter Dunn, Michael Colelran, Mike Archer, Cesar Aldama, Leslie Moonves needs to CLEAN HOUSE AND FIRE their fuckg asses. For god-s sakes, they’re all idiots, Alycia LAne, LArry, and the mumbo jumbo management that misses stories elft and right and tape recordds Channel 6 shows every single day at the behest of News Director Susan Schiller since she don’t know how to run a damn news room. The woman was late sending camera crews to the McGReevey scandal when it broke because–get this–she didn’t know it even happened until channel 2 in NYC called her and tipped her off and til Schiller saw the report on Channel 6.
