Justin Timberlake will launch a women’s clothing line with childhood friend Trace Ayala
Good news ladies! Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back by inking a deal with the founders of J. Lindeberg to launch a women’s clothing line under his William Rast label, JT (see photos of his line below). He and his business partner and childhood friend, Trace Ayala, will team up with Paris68, which is the Lindeberg’s design consultancy based in New York.
“I have always admired the modern designs and sophisticated aesthetics of Johan and Marcella Lindeberg. I am really excited that we have the chance to develop these strong collections together and that my vision for a complete William Rast lifestyle brand is in the hands of two of my most favorite designers,” said Timberlake.
His women’s wear line will have a “sexy tomboy attitude” and feature T-shirts, tailored jackets, fitted trouserse, and high-waisted skirts. The line is scheduled to launch for Fall/Winter 2008-2009.
