The Hogan’s (Bollea) divorce made headlines the last few days with Hulk claiming to be shocked and saddened, but now reports are saying the divorce is a strategic move in the potential civil suit of the Hogan’s son, Nick, with the Graziano family.
Linda Bollea filed for divorce last week. Hulk claimed to be completely unaware, learning about the situation from a St. Petersburg Times reporter, but sources say the couple had apparently been fighting for some time, especially over her spending. She also wanted to move to California, while Hulk and the kids were happy in Florida. When Hulk refused to move, Linda rented a $35,000-a-month place on her own.
Now Kimberley Kohn, a Tampa attorney who represents Ed Graziano, the father of Nick’s injured friend John Graziano, claims the divorce is an attempt to protect their assets. The couple have assets topping $7.9 million including a Belleair mansion and Clearwater Beach home. A divorce could cut these assets in half. Nick faces a felony charge of reckless driving with serious bodily injury and a potential civil suit stemming from his car accident and injury to his friend. If the car was just registered in Hulk’s name, and a divorce occurred, Linda’s half of the assets would be tougher to go after.

911 calls were released Monday from Nick’s crash with witnesses saying Nick, in a yellow Toyota Supra, and a friend, in the Bollea family Dodge Viper, were racing. Police also say Nick had consumed alcohol prior to the crash. John Graziano, 22, was riding with Nick and “suffered serious head injuries in the wreck and could require a lifetime of nursing home care, medical professionals have said.” Nick’s criminal defense attorneys, Morris “Sandy” Weinberg Jr., would not comment, noting there has not been a civil suit filed yet. The Graziano family attorney said she would proceed with a civil suit as if the couple were married.

Hulk Hogan Divorce a Scam?…
Reports are now circulating that the Hulk Hogan divorce saga, which has garnered a LOT of exposure over the past week, may be a scam - specifically to head off a civil suit supposedly in the works by the Graziano family. John Graziano, 17, was left …

I seriously doubt that the Hogan Divorce is a fake cause the couple was seeking couseling for thir issues befor ethe accident with Nick and his friend. I feel and believe that when Hulk left the ring ( road) life of Pro wrestling and was home more with Linda thus stopping her elaborate spending she could no longer deal with the “reins” of having Hulk at home. This is not a publisity stunt or any other sort of stunt. Hulk is above any suck stunts in my own opinion.

I’m sorry that kid got hurt…but guess what, there should be no civil suit allowed..he could have NOT gotten in the car. After all, since he was supposedly Nick’s friend, then he must have known Nick was drunk. I know when my friends are drunk, even friends I’m not so close with. And why they feel they can sue the Hogans and not just Nick is beyond me. I mean, personally, I would throw this lawsuit out. They are playing on the sympathy. But the bottom line is their son was stupid enough to get into a car with a drunk 19 year old. He should have known better. And the parents have no right to sue nick’s family, they had nothing to do with it. This is another example of the courts being clogged up with frivolous law suits and another example of courts making examples out of celebrities. It’s sickening. The hogans offered medical care to the boy, the family should be happy with that and realize accidents happen and that they obviously didn’t raise their kid not to get into a car with a drunk person. End of story.
