Tom Cruise is possibly up for playing Hugh Hefner in an upcoming movie about the Playboy founder. Apparently Tom is very excited about the role. According to a source,
“Tom knows of Hugh’s colorful past and thinks he would be the perfect person to bring it to the big screen. He also thinks the role would be a challenge for him, and would remind people of his versatility as an actor. At the moment people are concentrating on his personal life, and his marriage to Katie - but he wants to remind them that he can act too.�
Ummm, ok. I think I’d rather see anyone play Hugh Hefner than Tom Cruise. In fact I’d rather have 81 year old Hef, portray his young self in the movie, than have Tom Cruise do it. I was actually looking forward to this movie until now.
