Paige Davis
Paige Davis makes her return as host to the popular TLC show, Trading Spaces. She will begin shooting this month, with the first episode to air in January.
TLC announced in 2005 that she was no longer hosting the show, instead going with a no host format. (I hated it!)
Since leaving TLC, the ever perky Paige Davis had a couple of Broadway runs in the form of Chicago and Beauty and the Best.
With Davis’ return brings some original designers back in the fray as well - Doug Wilson, Laurie Hickson-Smith, Frank Bielec and Hildi Santo-Thomas. No announcement was made as far as returning carpenters or any other designers.
The show will now be produced by A. Smith & Co. Productions, the same company that produces the Fox shows “Hell’s Kitchen” and “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares“. Trading Spaces was formerly produced by Banyan Productions. The new season will also be shot entirely in HD.
I always loved this show, but when they went to the new format and Paige Davis was given the boot, it went downhill….Obviously they should have realized “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
