Matt Damon. Sexiest Man Alive. So says People Magazine. I agree….wholeheartedly! The sexy actor, father, and Academy Award winning writer can now add “Sexiest Man Alive 2007″ to his resume.

Matt originally refused the honor, which, according to People, “perfectly demonstrates many of the reasons we chose him in the first place”. They went on to gush about the hottie:

“His irresistible sense of humor, heart-melting humility” and “rock-solid family man” status made him the logical winner.”

Matt Damon is married to Luciana Bozan (see a biography of her here) and has a 1-year old daughter, Isabella, and a 9-year-old stepdaughter.

Matt was said to be shocked and happy about being named the “Sexiest Man Alive”, noting that Luciana told him that he had blushed when he heard the news. “You’ve given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime.”

The double issue of People Magazine hits newsstands on Friday.
