Elisabeth Hasselbeck, co-host of ‘The View,’ gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday. Baby Hasselbeck came on Friday morning and weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces. Elisabeth gave birth in an Arizona-area hospital after the family relocated when NFL quarterback husband, Tim Hasselbeck, was picked up by the Arizona Cardinals. This relocation was also the reason Elisabeth left on maternity leave earlier than she originally planned. Tim gave the birth announcement:
“Elisabeth and I are happy to announce the arrival of our son, and we’re thrilled he arrived safely. Both mom and son are happy and healthy,” Tim Hasselbeck said in a statement released by the network. “Grace is so excited to be a big sister.”
Elisabeth did not give the name of the new addition, instead, she plans to announce it on Monday by calling into the show. She also plans to return to work in January. Hard to believe she’s held her post at ‘The View’ since 2003. Congratulations to Tim and Elisabeth!
