The Spice Girls Tesco commercial has just been released online. You can see video of the commercial below.
Surprisingly, the commercial is not that bad. I actually liked it. It features all of the Spice Girls - Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, and Melanie Brown trying to hide from each other as they shop for Christmas gifts for one another. A Tesco spokesman said:
“We are thrilled to be working with the Spice Girls for our Christmas campaign. We feel that the new commercials really emphasise Tesco’s commitment to offer something different and exciting this Christmas.”
It has been rumored that Tesco is about to sign on a deal to sponsor the Spice Girls’ reunion tour starting in December. They paid each of the Spice Girls $2 million dollars to appear in their ads. However, it has been reported that Victoria Beckham is actually a loyal fan of competitor M&S (Marks and Spencer), a British clothing and food retailer. Heh heh.
